ITL is a BS EN ISO 9001 certified independent ink manufacturing company. ISO 9001 is a certification process that measures quality in all facets of a company’s operations. ITL has undertaken to maintain a quality management system which sets out to meet the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001 appropriate to the expected level of customer satisfaction. The annual inspection process measures staff performance and identifies opportunities in the manufacturing process and also documents the company’s efficiency and acts as a catalyst for educating and training staff.  ITL follows a highly disciplined development procedure that always ensures excellent results.

This certification helps ITL maintain its strong reputation and credibility in the industry because the ISO 9001 certificate is a symbol of our dedication to quality in all aspects of the company, and the detailed quality control processes guarantee fast delivery of consistent product. We are pleased to announce that our manufacturing headquarters in Cheadle near Manchester, England, has in early 2009 gained the latest ISO 9001-2008 accreditation. Qualification for the new ISO standard requires a full ISO inspection and assesses all processes as if from a new applicant regardless of whether, like ourselves, you already held the ISO 9001-2000 certificate.

We are extremely proud to have once again met the challenge of achieving the ISO standards and our continuing certification should provide all ITL customers with absolute confidence in the quality of our inks, production processes and after sales support.   

By working in association with the Institute of Manufacturing, ITL has developed “lean manufacturing best practices” which is a further process focussed on the continual improvement in manufacturing processes, improving product quality and the time from receipt of orders to dispatch.
